Riverplace Natural Trail - Austin, Tx

Riverplace Trail is a 5 mile trail tucked away in the suburbs of northwest Austin. Riverplace trail is rated as a hard/difficult trail with a lot of steps and water crossings. Water crossing can be dangerous due to thin film of algae that wraps the rocks, so take it slow.

Make sure you start in the morning or early afternoon because this trail can take 3-5 hours depending on speed. If you're going during summer times be sure to take plenty of water and a snack. Best times to go is during the fall or spring.

Riverplace trail is by far my favorite go to trail in Austin. My wife and I have done this trail twice now and will definitely go back again.
